Dr Bebe Bertha Ngomba. Pharm D, PhD

Dr Bebe Bertha is currently the Chair of Voice of Nations cic, and her great passion in serving her community; coupled with her educational and multicultural background, propel her with the immense desire and determination to reach out, impact and transform women’s lives.

Dr Bebe moved to Italy after her high school education in her native country Cameroon, to pursue a degree program in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences (School of Pharmacy at the University Of Ferrara, Italy) and graduated as a PharmD in 1999. She was subsequently awarded a scholarship for excellence by the Italian government; to further her education in cellular and molecular Pharmacology at the same university, and completed her PhD in 2003; with research interest in substance of abuse, and in particular, prenatal exposure to Cannabinoids (which led to a variety of publications as author and co-author in international peer reviewed journals).

She then worked as a pharmacist in Italy for five years; providing high quality and professional pharmacy services in retail and community settings. Dr Bebe later moved to the UK in 2009, to work in Lloyds Pharmacy as a relief Pharmacist, and was immediately promoted to Pharmacist manager. Under her leadership, her team has worked exceptionally well to increase the business capacity; which has lead to an expansion and success of the business.


Dr Bebe is a highly motivated, flexible, and determined individual, with renowned research expertise and a great enthusiasm and ability to thrive and succeed. Her experience as pharmacist in diverse communities has propelled her towards establishing positive relationships with customers, medical professionals, health care organizations and pharmaceutical representatives.

She has been actively involved in supporting and meeting the needs of under privileged women; through a local organization in her city of residence in Italy. Her experience as volunteer has been valuable to allow her have an in depth knowledge and understanding of the challenges faced by underprivileged women. In addition, she has been actively involved in creating drug abuse awareness in her local community in Italy; and currently serves her community with all the dedication achieved from her professional and volunteer experiences.
