This is an opportunity for you to know more about Voice of Nations, and the concerns and stories of some of the women we work with. Most importantly, get awareness directly from the source of the challenges and vulnerability of female asylum Seekers/ Refugees in Liverpool/ UK.

Get to know through their stories and experiences that it is not by choice, these women and their families find themselves here in the UK today, but rather they are compelled by horrifying circumstances and conditions to seek refuge here.

Become aware of the fact that it is also not by choice that very highly skilled professionals amongst them do not work, contribute or add value to the UK’s economy, but rather are forced to rely on public benefits, remain unproductive and unfortunately some are pushed into prostitution and depression- costing more money to the tax payer/ government.
